The WorldPerks Visa Platinum Card is issued by U.S. Bank and offers customers with very good credit a card with a reward system focused on travel-related redemptions with Northwest Airlines. The rewards program earns customers miles for money spent at eligible restaurants and fewer miles are earned for every dollar spent on all other purchases. Miles are exchanged for travel services with Northwest Airlines or their participating partners. Standard platinum benefits are also available, including auto rental insurance, travel accident insurance and extended warranty. There is a low annual fee and it should be noted that interest rates are typically higher than average.
