The Discover Student Card is designed for students who often do not have much of a credit history yet, but would like to establish good credit. This card has a rewards program that gives card holders a percentage cash back bonus with the Get More program on purchases at bookstores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. These rewards never expire as long as your card is active, and card holders have the opportunity to double their cash back bonuses when they redeem them for gift cards and gift certificates with Discover retail partners.
In addition, cash back bonuses can be redeemed through an electronic deposit to any account, or as a credit towards their Discover card account. There is a low introductory interest rate for purchases for the first six months, there is no annual fee and online account management features which allow card holders to pay their bill online and access their account whenever they like.
