The BuyRIGHT Pre-Paid MasterCard is a stored value card and is issued by MetaBank. The card provides a convenient way of making purchases for those who may need to build up their credit rating. It offers a rewards program and various payment options to suit cardholders' preferences.
There is an activation fee and an initial fund is required. In addition, customers pay either a monthly fee for unlimited transactions or per transaction. Fees also apply to some methods of adding funds to the card, however, funds made via direct deposit are free.
The rewards program earns customers one point for every dollar spent on all purchases. There is no limit on the number of points earned and they do not expire. Points are redeemed for calling cards and entertainment downloads or wireless airtime.
Cardholders may also join the Credit Building Program which offers a separate line of credit to be used at SmartCreditShopping.com. These purchases require a minimal deposit and account details are held by a major credit commission.
