Individuals having trouble getting an unsecured credit card can benefit from the Baby Phat Prepaid Visa RushCard, issued by Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company. Cardholders pay upfront, and then future purchases are deducted from the total balance on the card. Participating retailers offer discounts to cardholders, and there is a $1 transaction fee for all purchases, until the cardholder reaches the monthly cap of $10. The credit card also offers a referral program, which adds a small deposit to the cardholder's balance each time a new applicant is approved and sets up an active account.
